System Requirements

Before installing Cloud Storage Manager, ensure your WordPress site meets the following requirements.

WordPress Requirements

  • WordPress Version: 6.0 or higher
  • PHP Version: 7.4 or higher

Plugin Dependencies

WordPress Cron (WP-Cron) Must Be Enabled

This plugin relies on your systems cron events to process certain background tasks automatically.
It is essential that WP-Cron is enabled and functioning properly on your site.

Why is WP-Cron Important?

WP-Cron enables WordPress to automatically run scheduled tasks in the background without requiring manual action. It ensures smooth operation of several key plugin features, including:

  • Background file uploads — seamlessly uploads file in the background without user interruption.

  • Continuous cloud driver connection checks — maintains an active link between your site and connected cloud services.

  • Automatic file deletion on entry removal — ensures files are deleted from cloud storage when a form entry is deleted.

If WP-Cron is disabled or not functioning properly, these background processes may not run as expected.

Need Help?

If you're not sure whether WP-Cron is enabled, or need help setting up a server cron job, please refer to the WordPress documentation on WP-Cron or contact your hosting provider for assistance.
